Tastes like summer

The past two weeks have been filled with camp. I traveled to two
different towns in Southern Kazakhstan, Shauldir and Zhanatas, to help
volunteers with week-long English day camps at their schools. There
were many high points of camp, but by far the sweetest moment was
introducing 50 Kazakh children to the quintessential American summer
camp food: the S'more. We made some modifications with regards to
campfires, but with marshmallows shipped straight from America, these
sugary goo-wiches were pretty darn authentic!
